FRESH WATAAAA!
Went to Toledo Bend (mid-lake) over the past weekend. Despite the rain and LOW, LOW, LOW water conditions, we managed a nice mess of catfish(12) 3 blues and 9 channels, 20 bream, 25 crappie only 2 large mounths going not much over 14". All caught on minnows either carolina rigged or under a cork except the bass (caught on Watermellon/pearl bottom ribbits). Fished on some flats early, no luck then moved to the stumps with litter the lake now due to the water level (about 5' below normal) Could not make any long runs due to that. So if anyone is thinking about making it over there Dont launch at Holley Park marina, you will not be able to make it out to the main lake b/c of all the stumps inthe water and many are only 2-3" under the surface. Hope everyone had a great 4th.
