Fished Hopedale Saturday in all the nasty weather. Had the boat in the water for 7am and headed to Lake Ameda, wind had pushed alot of the water out, so no luck. I figured w/ the way the weather had been to try some dead end canals. Headed back to the Hopdale canal and turned down the pipeline canal that runs into Lake Jean caught two one pound bass one black/chart baby bull then fished the end of canal no luck came back up and fised the mouth of a big pond and pulled in two 18"-19" reds. I had never fished the west side of Hopedale only the east across MRGO. Headed back in at 11AM (Had family coming into N.O. Airport and was picking them up at 2:30 so I drove trough the terminal w/ boat in tow and picked him up) It was a rough day w/ the wind and temp, but got to scout a few areas for the 5/26 tournament.
